ASUU celebrates 100 days of strike

The on going strike by ASUU  has been on now for hundred days  ,this is as a result of the inability of the federal government to fulfill resolution reached with ASSU in 2009 and non payment of accumulated allowances owed the university lecturers are yet to be addressed.

     the situation is getting worsened as the Nigerian union of teachers NUT, are treating to join in the strike meaning that all government primary and secondary schools in the country will partake in the strike .
    The federal government  has however blamed the university management for not accessing over 35billion naira due to them from the Tertiary Education trust fund (TETfund)
